One week, that's all it took! Well, three nights to be specific. Great job raiding this week, Temerity. Inside our normal 10.5 hours -- and with zero pulls on the PTR! -- Temerity has cleared 7/7 in the first week of Patch 4.2.

Now comes the real work -- Heroic Modes! Here's hoping this tier's challenging content is as engaging as the first tier of Cataclysm.

Great job, guys! And grats on Kaetzchen for his nice firecatbear staff -- flame on, kitchen! Flame on.

It's a wrap! 13/13 H25!

And that's it. Heroic Ascendant Council dead. Last pull of the night seems to be a common theme for Temerity kills, but we're not complaining. This is truly an obnoxious fight, dominated by phase two; once you finally see Captain Azeroth in all his hideous glory, you probably are going to get a kill -- at least if you did the prep work and don't panic!

The bigger news, of course, is that Temerity is now 13/13H! What a journey it has been. Who would have thought the first raiding tier of Cataclysm would last six months before even fifty US guilds cleared it, especially considering the painful start of Wrath of the Lich King? I think it is safe to say this is the best tier of raiding since Ulduar or perhaps even the renowned Sunwell; amazing job, Blizzard. Keep it coming -- here's hoping Firelands will be as challenging and rewarding!

It's that time again: Heroic Al'Akir 25 dead!

While Sinestra may be this tier's ultimate boss, we had a couple of loose ends to clean up after thoroughly destroying her. This week brings us the first of those loose ends, now neatly tied off -- Heroic Al'akir 25! Many guilds are skipping this boss in 25s in favor of simply calling a ten man heroic kill their "progression," but not Temerity.

Great job on a great kill! After so many annoying pulls, the boss finally died in a beautiful pull with only three dead at the end, resulting in Temerity achieving the US 40th 25H kill. Outstanding work, guys! Now we're 12/13 and only one boss remains...

Last pull of the night? BAM! Realm First: Sinestra!

Wow! What an amazing week of raiding. Since Heroic Cho'gall was downed, Temerity has had a laser focus on our next goal -- Sinestra. I am proud to report that tonight she fell in just over two weeks since the two headed ogre opened the door... er, floor.

What a crazy fight; absolutely amazing play all around. After a 4% and 3% wipe earlier in the evening, the night drew on and on the last possible pull... Sinestra dies! While the screenshot doesn't show it, I assure you, dear reader, there is a dead dragon at the bottom of the lava pool behind us. Pay no attention to the skeletons beside the raid.

Grats to everyone on their loot and the awesome title, Dragonslayer! US 49th kill on the eve of the release of 4.1... not too shabby. Not shabby indeed.

On a personal note, I truly couldn't ask for a better group of raiders to kill Internet dragons with. And guess what! There are none left to kill... in this tier, anyway.

Onward and upward! Congratulations, Temerity!

Realm First: Heroic Cho'gall!

Cho'gall is truly an obnoxious fight... at first. One of those fights where absolutely everyone has to play perfectly, managing both their own well-being as well as random gotchas the ugly ogre likes to throw out. This one was a nail biter; phase 3 is a DPS race but we went in with someone down... and still managed to pull off the kill! Great play with a kill on our 75th pull.

Now it's time for the queen of the tier, Sinestra. You can see her peeking out in this screenshot as we stand over Cho'gall's dead body. It won't be long until she's dead as well.

Temerity is on quite a roll -- outstanding play has secured us two Realm Firsts! Stay tuned, it won't be long before we complete Realm First on the Sinestra and Heroic Al'Akir 25 encounters as well. Oh, and Ascendant Council. But first things first... SINESTRA!
